This, of course, makes about as much sense as a PlayStation 2 without a DVD-ROM drive, or an SNES without a cartridge slot. That is, it wouldn’t be able to play any games, and thus, would just be a $400 black box. The Blu-ray drive is also a rather large selling point, much like the DVD drive was a selling point for the PlayStation 2.
